Open Volunteer Position: Awakin Calls Scribe

Team Info:

Awakin CallEvery week, we have an "Awakin Call" with leading and inspiring individuals who are changing our world. The call touches on their inner journeys and outer work in the world. Our transcription team works off machine-generated transcripts to produce faithful transcripts of the conversation. It is an opportunity for deep listening and engagement with shared wisdom. Each person takes a 5- or 10-minute segment to transcribe.

Volunteer Role:

Awakin Calls Scribe
Listen deeply to the wisdom of noted speakers, and help us transcribe a 5-10 minute segment of our Weekly Awakin Calls, which feature a conversation with a unique guest speaker each week. Work off our machine-generated transcript for your segment, and help produce a clean final segment of the transcript by listening to the call audio for that portion.

More Context:

Good grammar, punctuation, and basic technical skills (using google doc, downloading audio, etc.) are helpful. This is a remote volunteer opportunity.
