Earlier in the year, Goi Peace Foundation asked about 20 organizations to describe their vision for the world, in the context of their organizational work.  Some prestigious organizations like Club of Rome, Schumacher College, World Wisdom Alliance, and the Fetzer Institute were invited, and so was CharityFocus!

We just submitted our first draft (yay!).  From the response of volunteers within CharityFocus and supporters outside of the day-to-day operations, it seems to have accurately captured the spirit of CharityFocus and the simplicity and power of its unique values.  Patrick Petite, the president of Goi Peace, sent this note right within moments of reading the first draft:

Dear Nipun,

I have read your article for the GPF book, and I do commend you for your excellent and very individually written chapter. It is simply beautiful, uplifting and fits so well in the whole concept of the GPF publication.

Thank you so much for your great efforts! I will send you a copy of this GPF publication as soon it is published; sometimes at the end of July 2007.

In the meantime, I wish you every success in your noble mission and I look forward to the list of your recommended publications.

With gratitude and best wishes,

Patrick U. Petit

If there's a graphic designer out there who is moved to spiff up PDF, that would be grand.

Onwards!
