Many of you might know by now the story of brother Oscar Grant. The Sundance award winning film about his tragic destiny has been screening in the Bay Area for the last couple of weeks. A few people from Canticle Farm watched the film yesterday, and it reveled to some of us the context of our work in Fruitvale. To see reality as it is around here, to channel that energy to step up our nonviolence through love in action and to manifest it in the community as consistent contributors.
