The following article from Greater Good talks about a recent research study from Science suggesting "that preverbal toddlers as young as 18 months old understand when adults need their assistance and will do their best to help out, even for no reward. Be the Change
Try asking your little one to help you with simple household chores this week. For example holding a spoon while you mix the breakfast batter or helping you blow into the hot glass of milk so that it can cool faster. Or you could even come up with your own ideas that can help in a creative, positive and loving engagement with your child.
