How We Give

Whenever I go for interactions with various communities, I have a bag full of goodies from Smile Cards to heart pins. And now I also include copies of "How We Give" by Suchi (which is transcription of a talk she gave at a lecture organized by one of the Awakin Hyderabad attendees):

Lovely to see this :)

And the story of Mohan who printed these is remarkable as well. Nice to see this.

Most embarassing ;)

Nisha puts the spot-light where it belongs: On Mohan.
Mohan is one the kindest people I know (and I don't say that lightly). Unassuming, of simple dress and simple words, he accomplishes in very quiet ways so very much. The talk (published by him), is a memorial lecture for his wife who herself did many deeds of kindness. The Foundation in her name and memory does simple but vital things to help girl children -- school fees, text books, bags...The girls often turn to Mohan for advice and help. And he gives it openly. Mohan is also the kind of person who, when in town, will make a two-hour round trip drive from his home just to attend the one-hour in silence Circle. Need I say more?

What a lovely gesture Sheetal....I will now place it in all my skilling centres to be given to visitors along with my book....
