Last week at the Gandhi Ashram, I was sitting in an assembly in the place from which Ishwar Patel served for decades.  As I opened my eyes after prayers, I noticed a few ants by my footsteps and looked up at the sky.  In so many ways, I found myself to be like an ant, looking to reach out the Himalayan heights of compassion.  And yet, I felt a rush of gratitude for the giants of service surrounding me -- who make me feel that walking such a seemingly impossible path is not only possible but probable.
