Our Little Guy Is Now 2.5 ...

1 min read
Our little guy is now 2.5 years old and we wanted to build even deeper roots of gratitude in our daily lives. Now that he's older and grasps the idea of being thankful we felt it was a good time to start a new tradition. Over the last week during our bedtime routine we started talking about what each of us was thankful for within our day. My son, Kavi, immediately jumped into the conversation to tell us everything he was thankful for starting with all his daycare teachers. I think my expectation was he would be thankful for things...his toys, special blanket, etc, but he took me by surprise when he started naming people and not things. Today, he told me he was thankful for food and snacks. He amazes us everyday and teaches us to grow deeper in compassion and kindness.

Amazing what Kavi is tuned to, We have the same tradition with Aum and many a times, he surprises us including the time he said he is so thankful that we do this.
