As most of you know Mira and I have been working our summer internship project called 'Wrists to Remind', taking a spark of inspiration from Joe's Peace Chains. Last Sunday, we gifted out most from our initial batch of 95 at Karma Kitchen-- and to be honest, we didn't how strangers would respond but it felt *really* awesome to see people's reactions, encouragement and gratitude. Various people even took photos of our color chart, as we shared our research behind each value and its corresponding color. In the end, the "stuff" became an excuse to connect at a deeper level.
Just a recap of the concept -- we have named them 'Wrists to Remind' as we hope the wristlet will act as a reminder to perform the respective action that goes with your word. Unfortunately we do not have all the colors we started off with, but we do have generosity, balance, imagination, hope, peace, respect, unity and faith left. If any of those speak to you, let us know and we'll be happy to mail you one. :(
