As I listened to Rob share his story, I noticed a reflection was swirling around in my head about all of my life journey and how he was conveying that we all have “our stories.” It was even a comment that was brought forth by another. “Our Stories” can be molded from the clay of adversity and/or great ‘fortune.’ It appears Rob has shaped his life from both. Like many of us it is from within the contrast that we begin to recognize how we truly want to live our life. For Rob, his life seemed destined to be one of service, surrender and trust. Rob’s story is a mirror of just that with a profound reflection of embodiment.

It is not everyday that we have the opportunity to be in the presence of someone that is embodying their highest reflection or even someone that truly knows what that reflection is. It takes great courage to choose this path. I truly appreciated that he even shared the ‘practice’ of sitting within the discomfort to move beyond that which holds us back and makes us uncomfortable. Rob shared that within this practice we find out what the word ‘surrender’ truly means, experience liberation within each letting go.

Rob is the embodiment of humility, nobility, serendipity, and LOVE. His willingness to surrender to each phase of his life seems to provided him with a greater sense of how he can continue to serve and be in this world. Which brought my listening ear and heart to an inspiration to always embrace the discomfort within my own life with great JOY. Rob’s life clearly illustrates to me, that it truly does provide all of us the opportunity to know and love ‘self’ while continuing to transform.

When he was asked how he stayes within his practice of living from his heart, he said, “I make the best next choice.” The truth and simplicity within that wisdom is we can all take away that practice and ask ‘self’ the question...”What is the BEST next choice?” then take ACTION!
