Attitude Of Gratitude For L'll Angels......

Mar 03, 2018, 6 smiles The attitude of Gratitude “Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” - Marcel Proust Gratitude is about focusing on the good and being thankful for the blessings we have in our life. Hence raising thankful kids results in more positive and joyful kids. With this strong belief, I organised ‘gratitude circles’ for kids where they learned the value of thankfulness in an interactive and fun way. We started with an ice-breaking activity “What makes you smile?” Children came up with innocent and honest replies from getting a fidget spinner as a gift to winning a competition in the school. To delve deeper for the exploration of the term, a popsicle game was played to state their thankfulness for a person, place, thing or lol moment. We delightfully discovered - “ME + GRATITUDE = HAPPINESS” The inquisitive and enthusiastic audience learnt the ... Read Full Story

21 Day Kindness Challenge: Week 3

Dec 23, 2016, 1 smiles With a lot of learning for soul and contentment in hearts, we finished the 21 day challenge yesterday. But after listening to each one’s reflection, it seemed like it was actually a new beginning- A new way of life! Renu was satisfied to grow awareness in her daily routine and bring some kindness into it. She said that although she had been doing such acts earlier also, but this time the feel was totally awesome. Chhaya made an effort to save the mother earth by bringing in consciousness of not wasting water in any form-brushing, cleaning or cooking. Jyoti was overjoyed to move out of her comfort zone and serve the little angels on the road side. The little girls were taken for an ice-cream party and a joy ride. She reflected that the challenge has helped to use her physical, skills and financial resources in the right way. Payal was overwhelmed ... Read Full Story

21 Days Kindness Challenge , Week 2

Dec 17, 2016, 3 smiles Khush morning friends!! I am really very happy to share the second week’s reflection of the 21 days of kindness challenge. This is because most of my friends have self extracted the intention of doing the acts. They have realised that “we were doing such kindness activities but with a feeling of helping others only. The love and oneness was missing.” Jyoti fed grains to the birds and flour to the ants as a pay it forward gesture. Chhaya parted away from her crockery and broke her attachment bonds. She also donated clothes to a beggar. Pinal gifted her favourite urban pot and dress to her sister in law. Puja learnt a new recipe while connecting to a stranger at the bakery.(she is going to treat us with it in the next meet). Niyanta enjoyed her gup shup ride with a stranger who had missed her veggie vendor. Renu aunty made yummy ... Read Full Story

21 Days Kindness Challenge

Dec 12, 2016, 6 smiles “KINDNESS IS NOT AN ACT, IT’S A LIFESTYLE! “ _ Anthony Douglas Since the day I heard this quote, I had always wished to make it happen to me and the people around me. Few days back, one of my friends called me expressing that she wanted a platform on the basis of which we could have a positive gathering. On discussing, the idea of 21 days of kindness challenge came up. We called up a few friends and we were 12 of us on the same path. But it seems that kindness in thought itself is contagious,..... the number reached to 27. With lots of excitement and inquisitiveness, we met. We started our circle with 2 minutes of silence and a prayer “madhuban khushboo deta hai…” Each of us shared our names and our broader views on kindness. We watched a few videos to dive into the concept better. Few of ... Read Full Story
