The Joy of hosting Wednesdays: The joy of hosting these Wednesdays (In outer Banks) is much more than I expected. Just by word of mouth we had 26 people rsvp for our last night meditation. I feel so happy when people leave with happy faces. Some of them drive for 30-45 just to come to these sessions. I am so excited to plan out the menu for the dinner. I have started learning new recipes esp desserts just to make something new for these people. It gives me more joy than it gives them. We get to meet so many wonderful people through these sessions. This morning when I got up, I saw a sealed envelope in our restroom. It must be from someone who came yesterday for meditation. I opened it and there was this beautiful card along with some money. I was very happy to see the card but was not comfortable receiving money but then I thought about the intention of the person who hadn't even mentioned his/her name but just wanted to express his/her gratitude. I was very touched by it. We will use that money to buy christmas gifts for two needy kids in our local community. Blessings from those kids will surely reach this anonymous giver. Its just joy joy and joy being part of these Wednesdays!!! Thanks to Service Space for starting this beautiful concept !!!!!!!
