Never doubt that your efforts are having a positive impact! This came in to Daily Good mail today in response to the most recent article and it also is a good one for HelpOthers: Ruth writes: I especially loved this one today...recently I saw a young girl, waiting for a bus, crouched down on the ground...the weather was ugly out, and cold...she was dressed for summer! It was rainy....I saw her as I drove by....I got a block away and could not get her out of my mind...I drove back, parked, got my umbrella out of the back seat and walked over to her...she said "Are you waiting for the bus too?" and all I said was "No, sweetheart, I'm giving you this umbrella while you wait....no one should be out in this weather without one...wish I had a jacket to give you." She smiled so sweetly at me....later, on my return trip, I noted she was gone, and the umbrella went with her...I was so glad to do that. It made my day, totally complete! Now, I am in need of a suitable apartment (it isn't easy to find, since I have chronic health issues related to the types of housing we use) and I am hoping that my one small act of kindness will come back in the form of the perfect place for me to live. I am going this afternoon to see an apt. that may work well...we'll see. Thank you so much, Ruth/Wisconsin
