Stories we recived last year(2014) from people how they celebrated their environment day by doing small things for nature..

1)Awesome story from delhi on " worlds environment day"
"I shared a prayer with the trees this morning. Spend time With my garden plant. Gifting one of the plants a new pot!
And we showing environment oriented movies to kids today"

2) Today i was going to market...and waitng for an auto! One aunty was also waitng for an auto and wanted to go to station! I requested her if we can share the auto and save the fuel and go in one auto! Felt nice ...i could initiate my bit in "save fuel save environment"!

3) I wont use vehicle today to travel from one place to another...
I will go walking and these will be a gift from my side to environment

4) I gifted a reusable cloth bag to a house wife and requested her to use it when she goes shopping for vegetables

5) My 6 year old - when I told him that today is world environment day - he danced a little and then asked me ' so is it natures birthday today ?' I smilingly answered in positive. And before I knew, he was singing ' happy birthday to you ' for nature while watering a plant that he potted a week ago at Kinnaris 'camp kindness'

6) Some of our friends in mumbai decided to gift tulsi plants to all the people they meet...So they all gave tulsi plants to senior citizens, youngster, coblers, shop keeper and many more

7) planted a new plant in garden n also watered other plants
