All global Awakin coordinators are now on an "Awakin World" alias, and for March 20th, International Day of Happiness, we were all coordinating local actions for happiness.  So, in North Carolina's Outer Banks, where we host our gatherings, we decided to collectively take a 21-day kindness challenge.  Everyday each person would write down 2 things they're grateful for (heart), do physical exercise for 20 minutes (hands), meditate at least 5 minutes (head), and journal about a small act of kindness (share).  We posted up a Wiki page, with a video, ideas and more -- and everyday 30 of us are intending to go in and keep our spreadsheet updated.  Thought most of us are from OuterBanks but there are couple of people participating from India too which shows there are no physical boundaries when it comes to sharing. The challenge has been going great so  far. More than the challenge, its the act of doing it together which makes it so much more powerful. Everyday we all have been sharing a lot of inspiring stuff with each other through emails which keeps everyone motivated. We'll keep you posted as stories emerge, but till then, thank you for the inspiring Outer Banks in NC!
