Last year London welcomed it's first Karma Kitchen experiment on the International Day of Happiness, which turned out to be a really inspiring experience both for the diners who experienced generosity on the menu and in the hearts of the 8-person volunteer crew who experienced "love in action" as they served unconditionally.  This year, we've teamed up and put our hearts together with Ruth, the owner of The Canvas Cafe (London's first Happy Cafe!) who has also attended Awakin Circles this past year, once again to host another pop-up Karma Kitchen on the International Day of Happiness, Monday March 20th.  We know many folks in the ServiceSpace community know others in London who might like to come along that evening and experience "growing in generosity" first-hand, so please do feel free to share the invitation below with them.

You're all invited to join in at Karma Kitchen at The Canvas Cafe (just off Brick Lane in Central London) on March 20th and you can choose here below how you'd like to get involved :)

Join the Volunteer Crew - You're invited to join a spirited crew of 12 volunteers to host the Karma Kitchen pop-up by serving in a variety of roles from serving tables to plating food to washing dishes and more! If you'd like to volunteer from 5pm-10:30pm on March 20th, please submit your email address using this link.

Karma Kitchen is one of those beautiful spaces where the lines between giving and receiving get blurred, until it becomes difficult to decipher who is giving and who is receiving, so ultimately, as Nipun would say, we all just dance! :)  That really sums up our experience of Karma Kitchen in London last year!  For the Karma Kitchen volunteer team, it was a joy to be in the space and serve with love, in whatever ways they could to offer the guests a pay-it-forward dining experience to remember, and to feel inspired pay it forward for others in the future :)  Afterwards, many volunteers mentioned how sharing their authentic presence throughout the afternoon really enabled them to dig deep and open their hearts up while connecting with each guest.  Many diners told us that they had never been gifted a meal and then offered the opportunity to pay it forward so it was something that invited them to reflect on this experience.  The Museum of Happiness team shared they felt the vibe in the space had been elevated and infused with love following Karma Kitchen and that this rippled into the rest of the workshops later that afternoon.

We're so excited about hosting another Karma Kitchen Pop-Up this year to share the love with Londoners :)  Please feel free to share this invitation with others who might be inspired to experience a pay-it-forward restaurant!
