My Ripples From Laddership

Laddership Circles - it has been a wonderful experience. So very well thought out format to think of different ideas, explore them, share them and talk about them.

Where does this all lead me to? What does it mean? My thoughts, my check points for my self, my dialog with myself ... thought would share it on our feed in the spirit of holding space - an incredibly nurturing space I might add... :)

I think of it at two different levels ...

_______________

ONE: My relationships and journey at home and at work - where/how it is right now. Which ripples touched me, resonated with me...

Take time to understand people - be it family, friends, customers, colleagues.

Trying moments - don't we have those from time to time? I picked up new ways to "solve" those moments - holding space inside where I am able to nurture what is close to my heart rather than jumping the guns reacting in these moments. A number of vantage points and tools that came up in conversations, that are now in my "emotional intelligence, proactivity toolkit" ... priceless experience and  vantage points to look at myself and my context where I am.

Self-awareness ... I am able to observe my own thoughts much better now, and that is unlocking myself in ways that I think will expand horizons inside and then outside...

What goes hand in hand with all of this is meditation. I am in ways a reflective type, and then not. I write to compile thoughts and reflect, sometimes I speak about it, too. Now, I think I have more tools - specifically mindset to meditate. I am taking baby steps there now - it's a start.

Enjoy and connect with what is close to heart. Even at work, there are creative outlets that fueled engines to embark on the journey I took. Scrambling for timelines, running around can take away from it, which can sap energy. Prioritize to keep what matters most in front and center regularly.

Empathy - thinking of developing set of tools to develop it for myself. Continuing my thoughts on defining and organizing an Empathy Challenge. Very excited about it - it is involved - it will hopefully be what Nipun and Audrey often say - Labor of Love Project.

TWO:
I am inspired to start a service based project. Where/how ... food for thought at the moment. This would be an initiative where I can do things based on values of compassion, service, quality relationships, serving (and not helping/saving ... what a paradigm shift there for me as well... :). Looking forward to more brainstorming on this.

Smiles, gratitude and all good things, Deven
