Awakin Movie Circle: CRAZYWISE

WHEN: January 8, 2019, 7pm
WHAT: You're invited to join us for our second Awakin Movie Circle where we are delighted to welcome internationally-renowned filmmaker and social documentary photographer, Phil Borges, to screen his film, CRAZYWISE at our home in Pimlico.

Phil worked as a dentist until a deep love for photography lured him permanently away from the drill. He spent the next quarter of a century documenting the world's disappearing cultures. A journey that took him high into the remote mountains of Asia and deep into the forests of the Amazon. A journey that brings him to our local Awakin Movie Circle on January 8th during a personal holiday in London!

For this post-dinner gathering, we plan to...
  • 7:00pm - Screening of CRAZYWISE
  • 8:30pm - Words of inspiration from Phil Borges
  • 8:50pm - Circle of sharing with all guests including insights, questions and reflections on themes in the film
  • 9:45pm - Tea and light refreshments
