Awakin Circle- Shoreditch
"Meditation is not a means to an end; there is no end, no arrival; it is a movement in time and out of time. Every system, method, binds thought to time, but choiceless awareness of every thought and feeling, understanding of their motives, their mechanism, allowing them to blossom, is the beginning of meditation." --J. Krishnamurti

Every month, a few of us come together to sit in silence for an hour, share some aha-moments for the second hour and often have a light meal afterwards. There no teachers, or agendas. Inspired by many others, who have done this for decades, Awakin Circles offer a space to come together and share in a context of stillness, community and service.

7:30PM An hour of collective silence; it's unguided, without any instructions or music. For first-timers, this primer on meditation may be helpful.
8:30PM A short reading (sent out earlier via email), followed by a circle of sharing of "aha" moments from everyday life.
9.00PM Vegan community co-created dinner and socializing.

There is no charge for this event. People organically "pay-it-forward" to the world in their own ways.
