Awakin Circle, Banyan Grove
On Sun, June 3rd @4PM, we're delighted to host our monthly Awakin Circle at Banyan Grove!

Awakin gatherings started when three friends got together two decades ago to sit in silence in an ordinary living room in Silicon Valley. No teachers or gurus. No set agendas or proposed beliefs either. Just one strong principle -- when you change within, the world changes. And instead of closing the door, they left it open ... to all.

Today, Awakin Circles have organically rippled to eighty cities around the globe. People meditate for the first hour, engage in a circle of reflective sharing in the second hour, and conclude the night by receiving a delicious home-cooked meal. A palpable sense of gratitude and community weaves through it all. Folks have blogged about its extra"ordinariness," and the ripples of inner transformation are countless -- and continue on. Simply put, Awakin Circles are about sharing stillness, service, and community.

The evening will flow like this:

4:00PM An hour of collective silence in our new zendo (meditation hall). This hour is unguided, without any instructions or music. For first-timers, this primer on meditation may be helpful.
5:00PM A short reading of a reflective passage from a wisdom tradition, followed by a circle of sharing of "aha" moments from everyday life. This month's passage is: The Year-To-Live Experiment.
6:00PM A simple vegan dinner offered to all present.

If you're able to join, do RSVP below with your email, and you'll receive more details as we get closer. If you'd like to explore a carpool, submit this carpool form, and we'll be in touch if we're able to pair you up.
