Volunteer to Serve at Karma Kitchen London

We are excited to be teaming up again with the folks at Canvas Cafe, (London's first Happy Cafe), to host another pop-up Karma Kitchen experiment on the evening of Saturday, 12th August --  as part of a week long Summer of Change Festival hosted at the Cafe.

You are invited to join a spirited Volunteer Crew to host the Karma Kitchen pop-up by serving in a variety of roles from serving tables to plating food to washing dishes and more!

To get a feel for the magic that unfolds when the spirit of generosity takes over a restaurant, you may enjoy reading about the last Pop Up Karma Kitchen hosted at the same restaurant earlier this year to mark International Day of Happiness.

We'll be booking two sittings for dinner that evening, and it will be lovely to see what the volunteer crew can do to create some ripples of generosity in serving our curious diners :)

The plan for the evening...

5pm - Volunteers circle together as a group to share journeys and participate in orientation
6pm - Welcome the first round of guests and share the love, serving with all our hearts!  We'll try to wrap up by around 7:45pm, so we can clean up and turn things around for the second sitting.
8/8:15pm - Swap roles and welcome second round of guests who are dining at Karma Kitchen!  Hoping to close for the night just before 10pm, leaving us some time to clean up afterwards and return the space as we discovered it.
10:30pm - Brief closing circle and conclude by 11'ish
