Awakin Circle in Pasadena with ServiceSpace Friends
Awakin Circles bring together small groups of people in living rooms around the world.  It's an evening that brings together silence, sharing, and community in an elegant way.  

On Saturday, August 6th, we're delighted to host an Awakin circle in Pasaden -- with some very inspiring friends from ServiceSpace.
  • 6 pm -- Sit together in silence for an hour
    7 pm -- Circle of sharing, after a reading
    7:30 pm -- Reflections from ServiceSpace friends
    8 30 pm -- Vegetarian meal offered by the hosts

About ServiceSpace Friends ... 

Pancho: a grassroots activist, famous for meditating at Occupy Oakland and getting arrested for "disturbing peace", founder of Casa de Paz.

Audrey: a UC Berkeley graduate, who spent six months living in a nunnery, and is dedicated to "small acts with great love".  She is a visionary behind 21-Day Kindness Challenge portal and Laddership Circles.

Sam: an artist, founder of Green Museum, and an Oakland resident who bring loves through Fruta Gift -- gleaning fruit from neighbors and sharing it freely with neighbors.

Sonya: professor at CIIS, prison educator for 18 years, a seeker of higher truths, and recently reconnecting with her artist roots. She is the founder of Project Ahimsa.

Nipun: founder of ServiceSpace, a global ecosystem whose projects like DailyGood, KarmaTube, KindSpring and KarmaKitchen have touched millions of lives and transformed his own.

It would be great to have you join us, share a contemplative space of reflection, and plant seeds for co-creating more goodness in the world.
