SpiriTED Talks By Our Summer Interns!
This Tuesday, August 2nd, our 2016 Summer Inturnship concludes... but not without a spiriTED bang! :) Inspired by previous summers, in this final group video call, our interns, Saheli and Jacob, will reflect on their summer, lessons learned, and a value they hold dear through their very own "SpiriTed Talk"!

If you'd like to listen in and cheer them on, we'd love to have you join us!

Simply RSVP below and we'll send dial-in details as we get closer.

More About Our Inspired Interns

For Saheli Shah, "service means helping someone in need without expecting anything in return."  At the age of 10, she met and was inspired by a rap star's journey with 16 slum kids.  She's served with local temples and community centers, as well as with low-income communities.  Saheli is a talented artist, dancer (her Indian dance team recently won 2nd place!) and nurturer of animals at the Humane Society, where she volunteers her time as a camp counselor.

Jacob Cramer began writing letters to the elderly, just to make them smile.  As enthusiasm grew, he started Love for the Elderly, a nonprofit that facilitates letter-writing, intergenerational pen-pal programs, and educational awareness (including giving two powerful TEDxTalks)!  Receiving letters from 51 countries across 6 continents, he spent his spring break hand-delivering letters at a nursing facility in California. Jacob is a teen of many talents-- from leading kids as a summer camp counselor to playing clarinet and beyond!
