Teen Awakin Call with Brian Conroy!
ServiceSpace Summer 2021 Interns invite you to our first Teen Awakin Call -- with Brian Conroy! Moderated and run by teens, we'll dive into a conversation with Brian on his storytelling journey and his work in service. After that, Brian will share a short story about contentment. The last 10-15 minutes of our 60-70 minute call will be allocated for an open-mic Q&A for those listening in with us. Feel free to bring questions with you!

About Brian:
Brian Conroy is a wonderful storyteller, author, and the founder of the Buddhist Storytelling Circle, a collection of storytellers from the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery who tell stories at interfaith gatherings. He first encountered Venerable Master Hsuan Hua in 1976 and took refuge with the Master in 1994, inspiring him into the Buddhist faith. Conroy has also taught theater and public speaking in several public schools in San Jose, as well as performed in many festivals and conferences. Bringing together his ardour for storytelling with his expertise of Buddhism, he writes conventional and relatable Buddhist tales for all ages. Through his stories, Conroy exemplifies the message he could share with the world: Live your values.
