Earlier in September, Nipun rocked the house at Vedika (an Ayurveda school in Emeryville) giving one of the most inspiring talks I've heard from him. One snippet, on 4 kinds of giving: 1) Helping: Helping someone in need, where there is a hierarchy of giver and receiver 2) Fixing: Seeing something as broken and trying to fix it. Not fun to be receiver in these situations 3) Serving: Shifting the focus to co-creating, recognizing everyone brings something to the table 4) Offering: Tremendously grateful for having received the opportunity, seeing the divine in the other. One can't really capture the tears that the audience had in their eyes that day.
