Last week, our interns put together a raffle at "Relay for Life" -- where they got donated skateboards and t-shirts and more and raffled it off to raise money for cancer research.  They came up with the idea on their own, designed three of those six feet posters and took initiative to make it all happen.  Since "so many ask what we're doing this summer", they even created their own business cards! :)  Dillan mentioned that Rishi's story about the homeless guy really changed his perception and has inspired him to engage more with the homeless; he also creatively practiced kindness towards a "kid that straight out hates me."  Neil was at a camp at Stanford this week and noticed an older kid that others were afraid of talking to because he had a disability and couldn't speak properly or even swallow; his "step it up kindness act of the week" was to just chat with him and learn something from him.  "He's like the best dancer ever.  I learned so many moves from the films he showed me," Neil said with genuine enthusiasm.  They've got a full slate of new projects of ahead of them -- but we'll save some thunder for the next week. :)  Unless you keep up with their blog. :)
