Newest issue of 'Karuna Virus' newsletter is out!
Since our site launch less than two weeks ago, it's been a great gift to witness so many constellations of karuna ("compassion" in Sanskrit) ignite across the globe. The grief and fear, the kindness and courage -- the liminal space between fragility and possibility in our shared human predicament -- has never felt more alive.
In this inaugural issue, karuna manifests in the form of college students delivering groceries to elders, the familiar curiosity of penguins in uncharted territory, doctors filling shortages beyond their native nation, paramedics of different faiths united in serving humanity, and one man's guiding question: "When fear and othering are the norms, how might we act with love in the time of corona?"
