What Shall We Do With All This Money?

I have been associated with CharityFocus and ServiceSpace for over 2 decades. At a warehouse in downtown San Francisco, it was actually at an early CharityFocus "evening of inspiration" where I announced openly that I would flip my life upside down -- shifting from giving 80 percent of my life to commercial activities and 20 percent to service and spiritual pursuits to making 80 percent for service and spirituality, and 20 percent commercial.

Over time, I have been able to successfully re-balance and fine-tune my life via my pledge. It also helped me transform my relationship with money.

I decided to write a book on it. The inspiration for this book came from this idea that people work hard to make money, and then they continue to work hard to make money on their money -- can I inspire those people to pause and reflect upon their perspective on wealth?

What Shall We Do With All This Money? Inspiring Perspectives on Wealth

It is a book of compilation of interviews with heroes and unsung heroes of Indian Diaspora from all over the world -- including Nipun! They are from various walks of life including Senior Executives, Businessmen, Entrepreneurs, Professors, Lawyers, Private Bankers, Social Impactors, Futurists, Impact Investors, Millennials, Intuitives and Gurus. This is a casual, easy-reading book. It has interesting life journeys of the interviewees, followed by their perspective on money and advice to millennials who will be inheriting hundreds of millions of dollars.

Looks like I have found not only another neighbor - but a teacher, too. Thank you for doing the work to make it easy for us to enjoy your perspective. I remember hearing once that Denzel Washington reminds "there ain't no u-haul with a hearse"

A beautiful question to hold. Have just received the book. Waiting to see it changes our perception about money. I had also made a promise, to my self , to start devoting 50% of my time to service once i crossed sixty. Its been six months since i did , and its really a good time to look back and see how it is going.
