Walking With Pancho

For Pancho’s part: no food, no water, no currency, no intoxicants, no expressions of doubt! While he does not carry sleeping bag or many items, walkers may bring whatever they think they will need to go the distance they choose. Many will walk for a day, or two; some will walk all the way to the location where a giant fiesta is being planned. It could be a fiesta that lasts a day, two days, a week, a month - years. There is a deep commitment to hold up the vision of compassion and kindness for beings who are migrating and for those who have been given the unenviable task to “control” the site where people are gathering. The same care and consideration will be extended to every person encountered.
There is a desire to remember that migration is a sacred and necessary act for many living beings - whales do it, Monarch butterflies do it, human beings do it. Those who join this particular action must be filled with love, grace, and remain the best possible self that can emerge in these terribly confusing times.
