A Closing Cycle At Awakin Urban Ashram, After 10 Years

Earlier this year, Khushmita and I decided to move full time to Auroville, to explore a life dedicated to deeper inner work. For a bit, we managed to keep the work going remotely, but ultimately realized that it was most skilful to transition completely. So, we did a closing ceremony, "visarjan" of Urban Ashram as we bid it adieu to the Urban Ashram's current avatar. Paulo Coehlo's blog on closing cycles is helping me breath through this process.
It's been a remarkable decade of hosting Awakin Circles every week, with so many fond memories and ripples of inner transformation. On last Wednesday, we held a joy-filled, final Awakin at this location. Some photos here.
That evening, I shared with the circle about how if Guru Nanak would have someday passed by our Urban Ashram community, he might've said "Ujad jaoo" -- a reference to this parable, where Guru Nanak blesses a beautiful village, not that they stay together, but spread far and wide to share their insight, love and kindness.
