What is a slow story that you've experienced in the context of ServiceSpace?

Have never been a good story teller, but I'll share a small simple story of RAK:) My RAK often involves buying strings of jasmine flowers on the streets of Bangalore. These flowers are used as offerings for prayers or putting in the hair of women in India. I enjoy giving them to the ladies selling vegetables, fruits nearby, beggars, or even sometimes to the lady who is selling the flowers itself. They love receiving the flowers and putting them in their hair, a small pleasure that they don't often have an opportunity to do. Couple of weeks back I happened to meet one of the ladies I have given flowers to. She recalled our interaction from about 2 years back & asked me now why I had offered her the flowers. And all i could say is "to see that beautiful smile on your face" :) And she smiled again.

Interactions like this only reinforce that acting from the space of love is the right thing to do, and to do that not just often, but always. Long lasting are the impressions of love & kindness....however small or simple.

Grateful that a friend shared the article of Nipun-Guri's dollar-a-day walk in India. For that helped me find a new family of amazing people while learning to be a better person. Even though I've been a small part of SS for about 9 years, there's so much I need to learn and put into practice. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this space and for all the guidance & love showered on me. Many thanks & lots of love.
