S
tarting with a moment of silent gratitude, we settled in to Week 7
Everyone was aglow, excited to share what has been going in their life
Rain-walking with her daughter, Giang saw a bold human rights leader
Very inspired by her desire to change the world and “be” not just “do”
In India, Greg struggled a bit with the holidays, but made it to January
New interns have proven to be helpful as Planet Earthling progresses
Gaming to spread kindness and end bullying is a real winner!

Vvveerrrryyyy ccccoollllddd is the best way to describe Sabin’s reality
Earth’s natural cycles of hibernation are driving his bear-like actions
Rejoicing in singing & dancing has made -18 degrees more “bearable”
Sweet Angela went to D.C. and did a stellar job refraining from politics
Understanding differences with love kept her thoughts in her head
She then listened to her heart, staying home for Christmas as 3

How did Audrey survive a 10-day meditation? Beautifully, of course
Even though she “skipped the holidays,” she still felt deeply connected
London friends inspire her as they work to connect during commuting
People tapping into the human spirit was a common theme of our call!
It resonated for Birju as well, who also spent a quiet Christmas at home
Next to his wonderful wife who was under the weather
Getting to the intersection of consciousness & finance is alive for Birju

Inspired to just be with people, Chandni’s holidays were peaceful
She has great clarity about her intentions and destinations for 2017

Already letters from around the globe are pouring in for her projects!
Longing to see family, Eva wished to teleport to Spain for the holidays
Thankful, however, to feel connected and not lonely here
Rich experiences with another forest school have started her year off
Under her tutelage, kids from her neighborhood will blessedly join
It was with joy that Pavi announced her sister’s baby being born
Sweet innocence and discovery reminded us all of our true selves
Mugshots to portraits created by her friend touches that innocence too

Ready to dive into the evening’s topics, Audrey started us off
Expecting parents to pay for late pick up actually doubled the tardies
Altruism can be tricky. The goodwill of others prompts action
Leading us to discuss givers, takers and matchers

Gifting us with Adam Grant’s concept, Birju explained the hierarchy
It seems givers fall both at the top and bottom of productivity
Very intrigued, we delved into our relationship to unconditionality
Expanding on this, Greg is taking a new approach with his interns
Removing expectations from them has taken the pressure off of himself
Self-organization, in Greg’s opinion, is clearly the future

This idea led Angela to share her own story of spontaneity
As her friend’s “patient advocate” she stayed in the hospital to serve
Kindness guiding her, she felt energized, not tired, by this act of love
Eva spoke next about also wishing to feel more connected with herself
Reaching out to the four year old going through adoption inspired her
Seeing and feeling their suffering, she knows this is how she can serve

Moving on, Giang discussed her 20 years in the non-profit sector
Always reflecting, she noticed a pattern with her heart’s desires
The mind is consistent but the heart fluctuates every 5 years
Chandni then shared that she has applied to top universities
Here she took a leap of faith, not attaching a business plan
Each of us wished her luck in getting accepted where she wishes!
Revealing that integrity is what guides him, Sabin shared a story
Seems he was working in Africa on a peace building program

Contradicting these efforts was the same company sending weapons
Leaving that situation was the only choice Sabin had to live in integrity
Often this is difficult, Greg explained, when conflict occurs with family
Struggling to balance your heart’s desires with family pressure
In Angela’s mind, it all comes down to vulnerability. That is key.
Never one to shy from blessings, she then led us in prayer for Philippe
Giving him and his wife our prayers as they welcomed their new baby

Intentions for 2017 were our closing thoughts to kick off our new year
New empathy games, stillness in action, and discovering our why
Talking more with more bandwidth and connecting across the miles
Extending Laddership to Vietnam to share the good news
Not parenting from fear, but rather from love
Taking Goodwill Tribe on the road!
Insist on simplifying and prioritizing with effortless hard work
Our call was now complete as we ended with silent gratitude again
Next up…who knows? But we are all here for each other always
Serving, loving and inspiring
