Pecha Kucha is an ongoing global series of events where presenters talk about 20 slides and have 20 seconds per slide to talk.  I have attended a few presentations in Vancouver and San Francisco.  When I found out about Pecha Kucha they didn't publish the presentations, but they have now and I get monthly emails with the top presentations.  One of the top 5 presentations in July was by Michelle Lam and her journey to do 365 acts of kindness in 365 days.  She has some interesting stories and ideas, but the one that stuck the most was her kindness journals.  She writes in journals and gives them to random people to fill with their stories of kindness.  The end goal is for the last person to send them back to her.  I attempted this 10 years ago as inspiration journals and "released" mine into the wild.  I have never seen them again, but I often remember them:).
