Our Values

Our values are best expressed through these various KarmaTube videos.

Seeing

"The ordinary... is the part of our world where beauty is interlaced in each detail... It's the part of our world that can knock our socks off... but so many of us walk by everyday, never knowing, never caring... But some see..." This lovely meditation on the blessing of vision -- both metaphorically and explicitly -- was shot on a budget of $25 (for the prop sunglasses), using a digital SLR and an iPhone.

Changing Education Paradigms

Education and creativity expert Sir Ken Robinson talks about how the standardized education system conceived during the Industrial Revolution does not fit the requirements of the 21st century and proposes new education paradigms which focus on developing creativity and divergent thinking in today's children.

A Teacher in Tokyo

Your class goal is to understand how to be happy and care for other people. It sounds like the sort of class a stressed or overworked adult would find, long after they graduated school. Instead, it is a different teaching approach taken by a grammar teacher in Tokyo. Watch how Toshiro Kanamori teaches his pupils to understand their inner thoughts.

Grateful: A Love Song to the World

Musicians Nimo Patel and Daniel Nahmod brought together dozens of people from around the world to create this beautiful, heart-opening melody. Inspired by the 21-Day Gratitude Challenge, the song is a celebration of our spirit and all that is a blessing in life. For the 21 Days, over 11,000 participants from 118 countries learned that 'gratefulness' is a habit cultivated consciously and a muscle built over time. As a famous Roman, Cicero, once said, 'Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.' This soul-stirring music video, created within a week by a team of volunteers, shines the light on all the small things that make up the beautiful fabric of our lives.
