9 Mindful Habits For Well-Being

As we head into the holiday season and New Year, it is a good time to reflect and renew practices that nourish our well-being and that of our families. In this week's article, learn about how mindfulness is applied to nine areas to promote our inner well-being: meditation, inquiry, engagement, presence, gratitude, compassion, movement, relationships and contribution. Short audio clips accompany each habit to give you a chance to practice the technique. Cultivating and protecting our well-being is deeply personal. It requires us to check in with ourselves regularly and be open to whatever we may need to feel less stressed, more fulfilled, and generally at ease. Exploring and consciously applying these nine habits may serve as helpful tools in sustaining emotional wellness throughout life's challenges.
