"What was whispered to the rose to break it open... last night was whispered to my heart." - Rumi

Watch Flowers Bloom Before Your Eyes

These words from William Blake's poem 'Auguries of Innocence' are a beautiful reminder in the present times of uncertainty and slowing down.
"To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour..."

Flowers are beautiful examples of being open and generous to all. Witness dozens of different types of flowers unfurling in this stunning time-lapse video from filmmaker David de los Santos Gil. He used 5,000 out of 50,000 shots of his floral subjects for the final video, which was filmed over a period of nine months. [Watch the video]

By: Noel Parent
For: All children and anyone with a youthful heart :)

Yaroslava’s Flowers is a story of a little girl who loves flowers so much that she can hear them speak to her.  When the Flower Spirit appears to her and gives her a bag of magic seeds, she embarks on a Journey of the Spirit to discover the healing and transforming power of flowers. As Yaroslava brings new life to the places and people around her, she also discovers more about herself – through the power of flowers!

Be the Change

Spend some time in communion with a flower and observe its subtle nuances. Reflect on what you can learn from the life of a flower. Does it inspire you to bloom wherever you are 'planted' in this moment?
