This beautiful animated short film follows the day to day journey of a father and son and reveals how they find a common connection between them in the world we live in today.  The father wants the best for his child based on his own understanding of current social norms, which emphasize academic and other externally-oriented achievements.  The curious son's imagination grows and alongside this his own little dreams grow within him to do what makes him come alive. The movie subtly highlights the beauty of listening to your heart in between surviving the 'should's' and 'have to's' of society today.

The beauty of this little animated wonder is that it makes each of us think about who we are, where we are on this journey and how our lives and our gifts are completely unique.  It encourages each of us as parents and children to live a life that is aligned with our deepest intentions within, while following our hearts and doing the things that bring us a true sense of joy and happiness.  Encourage your children to explore their own curiosity and heart's calling alongside existing academic and social engagements to enrich their journey further.  We should offer our children the space to allow them to BE who they are. Their dreams are in every sense Real to them. Nothing is impossible in their world.

As a parent, it's magical to know that when the heart of a child is tended to in this way, the heart of a parent is also nourished and inspired to live life moment to moment. And when that magic happens, we see the world like a rainbow and every piece falls into its own place. [watch the video]

By: Anita Hager
Ages: 3+

"Rocky was a beautiful, furry cat living with her brothers in a cat-house. Since she was a kitten, she dreamed of growing up and becoming a boxer someday. But her brothers made fun of her and thought her dream was silly. Will Rocky be able to realize her dream? Will she succeed in following her ambitions?" - Publisher

"This series of books teaches values and inspires Children and Adults alike to BE who they are at all times. Using animals as teachers, the words and illustrations guide the child (and the adult) to see and to be exactly who they are - one beautiful lesson at a time." - Kathleen Boyd (Kindful Kids Community)
