You never know what can be the fruits of small seeds planted with no attachment, no long-term strategy, just faith in the ripples. Today I received an email from a Kindness Contest winner, Poornima, who was gifted $100 to help redistribute wasted food in India...no small feat. She diligently organized and helped to train young people in the city of Coimbatore that had the vision for No Food Waste. Poornima wrote to me to share that It is with Kindspring's $100 seed that they have been able to come so far. In 4 months more than 5000 people have been fed food that would otherwise been wasted. Today the founder of No Food Waste, Padmanaban Gopalan is a nominee for the Pollination Project's Visionary Award!
