Sareena was gifted a beautiful chance to be part of a meditation and her first Circle of Sharing at our home last night, with someone whose playful presence and inspiring music genuinely lights up her heart, Uncle Nimo, along with 25 lovely guests in the circle who had gathered to learn about the journey that led Nimo to Empty Hands Music.  For those who missed it, you can listen to this audio recording from our evening together.

Sareena joined us for the last 5 minutes of meditation and stayed with us through the evening, soaking up Nimo's words of wisdom and musical offerings. At the time, I had no idea how she was processing the whole experience, but I knew one thing, she was glowing and so happy to be in that space. This morning, as she was getting ready for school, I asked her what yesterday's gathering was about and she said, "Uncle Nimo shared his journey." (that was a new word she'd never used before) So I asked her what he shared about in his journey and she said, "He shared his love." (I could feel my heart lighting up as she said this) :) Then I asked her what we learned from the stories that Uncle Nimo shared and she said, "To share our hearts with other people." So grateful to Nimo and everyone at the gathering for welcoming a 3-year-old into the circle and into your hearts, and planting seeds that we promise to nurture over the coming months and years. And as always, grateful to everyone in the ServiceSpace community for nourishing the journeys of grown-ups and little ones alike through your inspiring presence, whether near or far.
