Inspired by
Awakin Wednesdays and the spirit of community, we gather on Saturdays to sit in silence for an hour, do a circle of sharing our "aha" moments and have a simple vegetarian meal together. It offers a space to come together and share in a context of stillness, community and service. It is the creation of a time and space where we can step out of our hurly-burly lives and gain insight about ourselves. No agenda -- just a belief in inner change. :)
To join the next circle simply RSVP and you'll be sent an email with more information. The rough format of the evening is as follows:
7:00PM An hour of collective silence; it's unguided, without any music. For first-timers, this
primer on meditation may be helpful.
8:00PM Short reading, followed by a circle of sharing of “aha” moments from everyday life.
8:30PM Simple vegetarian meal
There is no charge and no one is expected to bring anything. People organically "pay-it-forward" to the world in their own ways.
