Awakin Circle with Nipun Mehta (Harrow)
We look forward to welcoming Nipun back to London in 2019!  His visit last spring around Earth Day seeded inspiring ripples as we gathered for a one-day retreat, Soil, Soul, Society for a Happier World, at the Museum of Happiness, a Circle of Sharing with Nipun and Satish Kumar and concluded with an Awakin Circle.  During that visit, he also spoke at the Happier World Conference and at a Creating the Future Conference, spreading ripples in the wider London community.

On Monday, June 24th, a small group of friends, community organisers and change agents are coming together for a reflective gathering and we'd love for you to join!
  • 6:30pm - Sit together in silence for an hour
7:30pm - Nipun's reflections and stories from his personal service journey
8:00pm - Q&A and circle of sharing with the group
    8:30pm - Home-cooked vegan dinner
For those who don't know Nipun, Parabola magazine's Meditation and Service interview offers some beautiful insights into his service journey, along with many of these public talks he's shared over the years.  Last year, Nipun gave a commencement address in the Phillipines, Embrace the Grace, which is sure to inspire you.  And here were Nipun's concluding remarks: “I hope you will sing your song of love, loud and clear, with unabashed courage and conviction. As you stand on the precipice of a new dawn, may the bounty of generosity, the winds of grace, and the poise of gratitude power your acts of service. And no matter what happens, please keep singing -- and reminding the world of its song."

Nipun will also be joined by Jin Wei, a Buddhist Monk originally from Poland who had visited London in 2017 with Rev. Heng Sure from California.  What Jin Wei shared in the opening circle at a recent ServiceSpace retreat, sums up his heart of service beautifully: "A beginner's mind has limitless possibilities, an expert mind has few.  I hope to stay with the mindset of a novice monk forever."

It would be lovely to have you join us, share a contemplative space of reflection, and plant seeds for co-creating more goodness in the world.  To join, simply RSVP below and we'll send you a follow-up email with the details a few days prior to the gathering.
