Devotion Pod Closing Call
This Saturday, April 24th, we are coming together to cap off our week of tuning into purpose and exploring devotion!

We'll synthesize our learnings from holding diverse spectrums, and, as a fun surprise, we'll have an opportunity to dialogue with two guest speakers -- Buddhist monks Jin Chuan ("the monk who went to Stanford") and Jin Wei (from Poland) from DRBU -- who'll be sharing on their experiences and practices of devotion.

Simply RSVP below and you'll be emailed the details of the call. And you can also revisit this page to view that information as well.

From our orientation call last Saturday (which by itself felt like a crash course in devotion!),  so much has transpired, and our living textbook has grown in spades! Among the chapters of our insights ... On Day 1, Barbara noted, "life does not come with a manual," as Nicole reflected on leaving a beloved job to create space for a local community member to fill it. On Day 2, Wakanyi described the revelatory journey of fasting from Facebook, as Mary viscerally witnessed distractions of thought in daily activities. On Day 3, Meg recalled how a busier meeting agenda led to a longer period of silence before the meeting began, as Myron recounted his journey from the allure of the lucrative to the expansion of selfless love. All of that and so much more in just our first three days!

As we wrap up Day 4 today, and head into Day 5 on Friday, service and surrender have been major themes and threads we've woven into our explorations. We've worked with and shared how, when, and where we devote ourselves in the furthering of purpose. We've learned how we distract ourselves and get distracted, and how distractions themselves can become new turns in our journey and blessings themselves. We've explored moving out of ourselves into the infinite. And now, we say goodbye (for now) to this part of our journey together!

Looking forward to sharing real-time smiles on Saturday! :)
