Carol and I went to see Greetings! last night, a play about a family contemplating the existence of God, or a god, among other things, as good ole' Catholic boy brings home his fiance, a Jewish Atheist. The message, conveyed through comedy and a some emotional scenes really struck me. Mickey, the other-abled brother, requests the aid of Lucius, to help heal is family. Lucius points to his heart and says, "reality is in here, not out there". (Maybe I shouldn't have put that in quotes, but it's close:)). In the wake of all the suffering that is happening in our world, this is something that I need to start owning. There was also the message that all we can change is ourselves; our own beliefs, actions, feelings. And now, it's off to serve Karma Kitchen, where I can continue to change and grow into whomever I am supposed to
