We have a team of about 30 shippers worldwide, who have fulfilled incoming Smile Card orders every week for the last 5+ years. Our typical process is to send them supplies in bulk, and then they ship out the orders that are assigned to them (while kindly covering the cost of postage). Some of them are new shippers, some have done over a thousand orders, and many are in between. It's a joy to be connected to each of them, as we try to embed acts of kindness through the small parts of our process.

One of our shippers -- Marilyn -- ended up living close to one of the suppliers. So instead of mailing her the supplies, he dropped it off to her doorstep. On top, he included four apples and affixed a Smile Card on it. After returning home, he wrote her an email asking if she got it, and here's how Marilyn responded:
 

Yes, I got the smile cards -- and the apples and the lovely card!! You made my day and I've been smiling and energized all night. Now I know what it feels like to be tagged with kindness and it's a wonderful, wonderful feeling.
