An Experiment In Giving To People Who Give

A young guy who normally likes to make prank videos, re-channeled his energy into a totally different kind of experiment -- he pretended to be homeless for one day and sat outside with a sign asking people for spare change.  Each person who offered him money was in for a total surprise -- he gave them the money back and gave them $20 of his own as he thanked them for their generosity!  He told them he wanted to do an experiment in which he was "giving to the people who give."  So lovely to watch their disbelief transform into a smile, hug and even a prayer as the experiment unfolded!  Reminds me of the time when a Karma Kitchen volunteer server was given $100 and trusted to bring back the right change -- and returned with $120! :)  Or when a Karma Kitchen guest handed a credit card at the end of the meal and told the server to charge whatever they felt moved to -- and instead of swiping the card at all, the server returned with small gifts and inspiring quotes for the guest to share gratitude for her overflowing generosity!
