Tomorrow is my niece's baby shower. There will be 14 years between her eldest child and the baby. My niece was 15 when she had her daughter so wasn't mature enough to be what most would term a "good parent". We all hope and pray that maturity will bring dedication to the most important job a person can have - parenthood. To make sure my great niece doesn't feel left out tomorrow I bought her an "I love you and you are wonderful!" gift. I have every faith that she will be the best older sister ever.
