Sitting in the front of the room, at last night's Awakin Circle, I had the privilege of seeing people's faces as Nimo and friends gifted everyone an incredible evening of inspiration. With Nimo's songs, it quite literally felt as if everyone's hearts opened a bit more. As Anne's stories of everyday kindness concluded with surprising her husband with lunch this morning, everyone smiled deeply in recognition that we can all be the change. When Sid remembered his college commencement speaker ("If you're unhappy at work, arriving in a Mercedes isn't going to make it better"), everyone reflected on what success really means. The ambiance kept building as Nimo's song kept hitting a deeper chord, I felt. And as Tim teared up sharing an incredible connection with a Mexican kitchen assistant at his college, so did many of us. The question and answer session gave us more insights -- often making all of crack up in unison! -- into Nimo's indefatigable "be the change" spirit. Thank you, Nimo!

For me, personally, even despite having heard these songs hundreds of times, I felt like I was listening to it for the first time last night. It was unreal. And perhaps not so, because it was indeed the first time that this particular collection of meditative listeners were able to hold the container for these offerings to do its invisible magic. Thank you, all!

Here's the audio recording:

And some photos from Sandy's camera (more photos coming soon from Colleen's camera and late night photos coming soon!):
