We were sitting around the dining table with a few friends who are also SSp volunteers and sharing reflections about working through our own personal internal edges to come forth with a deeper sense of selfless service in our external actions, when this note came in from a Daily Good reader and found it's way directly to all of our hearts: "In nature, even sunshine welcomes the rain" By: Brian L Forsythe At yet another time when I felt I was being overly judged in poor ways, this quote came to me out of thin air as if a whisper in my ear. It has helped me a lot and continues to do so, especially when it is I who is developing judgments of others. This tiny quote, "In nature, even sunshine welcomes the rain", is posted at eye level at my kitchen sink so when I am cleaning up the days dishes and as I glance out my window, onto the world beyond, I am reminded daily of the great need for both good and not so good in our lives (yin and yang)and of how we must accept that everyone does have greatness as well as personal shortcomings. Thank you for all of your great inspiration. Brian L Forsythe
