Roopen tells us that a KarmaTube featured FreeHugs video is now on Oprah! Rock on.
'Free Hugs' was aired on 'Good Morning America.' Oprah Winfrey dedicating an entire segment to the video. It's turned Mann into a true viral star and has given Sick Puppies exposure they never dreamed of. The band now has a record contract and a debut record slated for release in 2007. 'All the Same' has already been heard over 150,000 times on the band's MySpace page. (full story)

Oprah Winfrey made the news Monday when she sent 300 audience members home with Bank of America debit cards worth $1,000 and a mandate to spend the cash on others.
Michelle Hall, 46, of San Jose was in the audience Thursday when the show was taped in Chicago. Hall came home mulling over all the worthy causes that could benefit from the talk-show host's largess. "She didn't care if we gave $1 to 1,000 people,'' Hall said, "or $1,000 to one person.'' (full story)

Somehow, I tripped upon the Free Hugs video and it was my philosphy to a tee. I went out and bought the Free Hugs T-shirt and have my own adventures when I wear it. Hugs always go in two directions. When do I NOT need a hug? Jill
