Nice note that we received today: "I just came across your site today and wanted to thank you and let you know about a cool gratitude practice from Japan. It's called "Naikan" and means something along the lines of "inner reflection/looking."  The practice consists of three parts: (1) what have I received from others today, (2) what have I given to others today, (3) what trouble have I caused others today.  I've done it for spurts in the last couple years and when I do it, I become much more aware of how connected I am daily to others even if its a relatively normal or solitary day."
