Always Be Serving

What I love about being around the Service Space posse is it engenders a service mindset in myself. ABS: Always be serving. Always be open and attentive for opportunities to serve in every situation. Even if it's a smile, a word of encouragement, or listening deeply. Two weekends ago I attended a wedding of a close friend. There is a pattern I typically fall into as a guest at such events… take, take, take. Eat the food, watch the performances, dance and mingle with people. But armed with a service mindset, the whole field of perception shifts and you start tuning into ways to serve, serve, serve. It creates a much more wholesome experience for you and those around, the mindset is infectious. With SS-dolphins Afreen and Praveen in attendance, there were a few notable ripples we conspired to create :) but I was really moved by an out-of-the-blue note I got today about a seemingly small gesture: Hi Neil,   This is to express my sincere thanks to you for arranging wheel chair for Auty at Nixon Library..It was so helpful and convinient for her to witness entire Barat Procession...I never expected such a facility would be available..You arranged within minutes and she could really enjoy the entire occasion comfortably...   Wishing you all the Best,   Mahesh Forecasting ripples is a futile endeavor. Better to just max out and always be serving.
